Thy Kingdom Come
Thy Kingdom Come
A call to prayer, 25th May- 4th June
Dear friends in Christ,
You may well be aware that last year, the Archbishops of Canterbury and York called the nation to a season of prayer in the time between Ascension and Pentecost, to pray in particular for mission and evangelism in our nation. We are pleased that we will be doing so again, and that Sutton Team Ministry will be joining in with this vital and life-giving Christian duty.
Archbishop Justin Welby says: “Jesus prayed at the Last Supper that we, those who follow him, might ‘be one that the world might believe’. We are invited to make a lasting difference in our nations and in our world, by responding to his call to find a deep unity of purpose in prayer.”
Throughout the 11 days, there will be a variety of opportunities to pray- corporately, individually, or in smaller informal groups.
